Neighbors of Egret Landing fire seek help for Jupiter victims

Neighbors are seeking to help the the Egret Landing family that lost their home and belongings in a fire in Jupiter Monday night.

Crews were called to the 400 block of Otter Lane North in Egret Landing, just east of Interstate-95 and north of Donald Ross Road, to a house fire at 6:28 p.m.

The family of three adults and two children were already outside of the home while flames and dark smoke were growing from the garage.

As firefighters battled the flames, family told them a dog was still inside.

The Egret Landing Property Association Inc. is seeking the following donations:

  • Peter (dad) wears size 30 waist, 9 shoes and medium shirts
  • Mari (mom) wears size 12 or large and 9 shoes
  • Noah (son) is 14 years old, wears boys size 16 and 9 shoes
  • Juliette (daughter) is 7 years old, wears girls size 7 and 1 shoes

Towels, luggage, and storage containers are needed as well.

Donation items will be accepted at the Egret Landing POA Office between 9 a.m. and 5p.m., Monday – Friday.

Items will also be accepted between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. at 202 Banyonwood Point in Egret Landing.
