Perry Cohen’s mom: “We are not alone”

MOM+Cohen

Pamela and Perry Cohen

From Perry Cohen’s mother Pamela, posted today on the Perry Cohen Foundation facebook page on the night marking the second year of her son going missing from the Jupiter Inlet:

Tonight our family and close friends will sit on the beach where Perry grew up very close to the inlet where he and Austin departed on their last journey and watch others as we did last year honor both boys lives.

Still after two years there is not a night in which I fall a sleep and close my eyes and dream of having my beloved son Perry and his dear friend Austin home with us all. Tonight we thank the outpouring of support from the community, public servants, countless volunteers, private pilots, boaters and searchers local and from around the country and abroad who through their deeds remind us all that we are not alone .

For the Palm Beach community, I continue to hold a special debt of gratitude.  For the Tequesta Police and Fire Departments, Jupiter Police Department, Palm Beach Sheriff thank you for all your support and always being there. To the Florida Department of Law Enforcement we thank you for your pursuit of the truth and answers to the disappearance of our beloved son Perry and his dear friend Austin.

To all of you who are honoring Perry’s legacy  please know that words cannot express the depth of our families gratitude.  Your continued love, support and generosity gives us strength..  To our dear friends, neighbors, community, business colleagues, and family members who have stood by us from the beginning, we are forever grateful for your compassion, grace and love you have provided us.
