Fullerton Island: Lots happened in two years after opening in Jupiter

There’s no running water, electricity, overnight camping, trash receptacles, cooking, overnight docking or restrooms on Fullerton Island, a 12-acre island off Jupiter reachable only by watercraft.

So why go there?

“It’s a little jewel in Jupiter,” said Carolyn Beisner, senior environmental analyst at the Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management.
