The restaurant “will redefine the fine dining experience,” according to the brochure advertising for membership.
Annual memberships at 1000 North are $2,500.
Former NBA star Jordan is one of 13 owners in the 325-seat restaurant on the Loxahatchee River expected to open by the end of 2017.
“So far we have had a very good response. We will limit the membership to about 300. We’ll see what the demand is,” said Ira Fenton, one of the managing partners.

The 18,000-square-foot restaurant, off U.S. 1 just north of Burt Reynolds Park, will have about 75 outdoor seats — including an outside bar — and overlook the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. A public dock and boat slips are planned.
Other restaurants in the area that have private memberships are located in Jonathan’s Landing, the Loxahatchee Club and Lost Tree Village.
