New landscaping at the “Gateway to Jupiter” is continuing at the I-95 intersection at Indiantown Road.
Planting royal palms, bismarck palms, royal poincianas, montgomery palms, crepe myrtle, silver buttonwood and southern red cedar are part of the $2.4 million plan.
The goal of the project is to promote business and tourism.
The project is expected to be completed by this summer.
The Florida Department of Transportation is paying for the project.
The contractor installing the plants will maintain the project for two years after completion to fully establish the trees and palms.
The FDOT will then take over maintenance of the interchange.
