It’s election season, and with three Palm Beach Gardens City Council seats up for grabs, voters will want to know where the candidates stand on the issues important to them.

The nine candidates seeking the three seats held by Mayor Marcie Tinsley, Vice Mayor Eric Jablin and Councilman Bert Premuroso will participate in a candidate forum at 6 p.m. today, Feb. 28, at the Gardens branch of the Palm Beach County Library, 11303 Campus Drive. There are no incumbents because of term limits. The mayor and vice mayor are nominated by their peers on the council, not elected to those specific positions by voters.

The candidates are Mark Marciano and Michael Paolercio for Group 1; Ron Berman, Kathryn Gettinger and Matthew Lane for Group 3; and Kevin Easton, Rachelle Litt, Joe Russo and George Wicker for Group 5.

The forum moderated by WJNO Radio Host Brian Mudd is jointly sponsored by PBGWatch and the North County Democratic Club, Palm Beach County Tea Party, Republican Club of the Northern Palm Beaches and the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches. It is not endorsed by the library.
