A two-time Olympic gold medalist will teach tennis in Palm Beach Gardens next month.

Gigi Fernandez, an International Tennis Hall of Fame inductee, will teach doubles March 22 and 23 at the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center, 5110 117th Court North. She and her Master Doubles colleagues will give one-and-a-half hour instruction sessions Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

Fernandez won 71 titles on the Women’s Tennis Association tour including two singles, 52 doubles and 17 Grand Slam doubles titles, according to her website.

She launched Master Doubles with Gigi in November 2011 and started offering trips to the French Open in in May 2014. Other trips included the Indian Wells Paribas Open, a Cancun Tennis Experience and a Puerto Rico cultural experience, according to her website.

Her method covers positioning, court coverage, serving, returning and shot selection. The player-to-coach ratio will be 4:1.

The $130 fee includes the session, a $25 Tennis Express gift certificate and a goodie bag.
