How high — and expensive — should the new Jupiter Bridge be?

Most residents of north county — especially those who walk, drive or ride their bicycles over the U.S. 1 bridge north of Burt Reynolds Park — have an opinion on how high the new bridge should be.

Here’s your chance to express your opinion.

The bridge is now 25 feet above the water at mean high tide.

Should it stay that height?

Or raise the bridge to 30 feet? 35 feet? 40 feet?

Before you decide, consider the cost.

The higher the bridge, the higher the bill.

And there’s also this to consider.

The higher the bridge, the fewer the bridge openings that stop traffic.
