With Halloween in the rear-view mirror and the flip of the calendar to November, the season of holiday giving has arrived.

The Palm Beach Gardens Adult/Senior Club is hosting a “Happy Feet & Hungry Minds” Thanksgiving food drive to benefit Grove Park Elementary School students and their families. Non-perishable foods can be dropped off through Nov. 17 at the Burns Road Recreation Center, 4404 Burns Rd., and the Lakeside Center, 10410 North Military Trail, in Palm Beach Gardens.

Suggested donations include instant mashed potatoes, green beans, yams, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie filling, pecan pie filling, macaroni and cheese, corn, stuffing, rice, red beans, tomato paste, cake mix and seasonings, including salt, pepper, cinnamon and garlic.

Any other holiday goodies are welcome, too. Call 561-630-1100 or email recinfo@pbgfl.com for more information.
