A slide show and book signing by author James D. Snyder titled a Trip Down the Loxahatchee is scheduled Friday, Nov. 4 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, 16450 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound.
Snyder is a lifelong journalist who spent 30 years in Washington DC as a reporter, magazine editor and CEO of a publishing company. He often kayaks and boats from his home on the Loxahatchee River.

He has served on the boards of local historical and environmental organizations and has recently finished his eighth book– A Trip Down the Loxahatchee.

Free park entry for the book signing a $5 donation at the door is suggested.

Reception includes light hors d’oeuvres and drinks.
