The town’s music volume regulations are overly restrictive and squeezing Harbourside Place businesses, Nick Mastroianni III said in federal court this morning, starting an expected two-day trial in federal court.

Jupiter  officials countered by saying Harbourside Place developers knew the restrictions were in place when the project was approved.

Harbourside Place filed the lawsuit against Jupiter in January, saying the restrictions are unconstitutional.

Testimony continues this afternoon.
