Your commute might get a little hairy this week.

Starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, the installation of a 72-inch pipe on PGA Boulevard just west of the Sandhill Crane Access Park will require a continuous lane closure for two days. It’s part of the roughly 2-mile project that includes raising the road and creating a new bridge with drainage and a wildlife crossing.

Only one lane will be open. Flagmen will be there to alternate traffic through the work zone. The road closure might be extended briefly in case of bad weather or other unforeseen issues.

Ranger Construction Industries is completing the $9.47 million project to be finished this fall.
