Fluffy service dogs delight at PGA National

A good puppy petting session can go a long way toward healing someone reeling from all the mayhem in the world.

New Horizons Service Dogs brought some four-legged therapists Tuesday, July 12 to Devonshire at PGA National. The hour-and-a-half showing was for people who live in or work at the retirement community.

The nonprofit based in Central Florida provides service dogs to people who are confined to wheelchairs or otherwise have mobility issues, according to its website. New Horizons showed the Devonshire residents and employees how therapy dogs are trained.
