Blu Stephanos: People “are praying for” the Kimberly family

TETTENS

Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos have been missing since July 24, 2015

Blu Stephanos, the father of Austin Stephanos, issued the following statement today via e-mail to the family of the missing father and three teenagers last seen on Sunday aboard a sailboat off Florida’s Gulf Coast.

“Our hearts go out to the Kimberly Family in their time of need. As I know all too well, there are no magic words that anyone can say that would ease their minds, but my advice would be to stay positive and strong, and not give up hope. They should know that many people they’ve never met are praying for them, and for the safe return of Mr. Kimberly and his children. My hopes are that reports like yours will encourage people to help in any way they can, and to embrace the family in prayers and words of encouragement.

God Bless,

Blu”

The family members are Ace Kimberly, 45, and his teenagers Roger Kimberly, 13, Donny Kimberly, 15, and Rebecca Kimberly, 17, of Sarasota.

The incident comes close to the anniversary of the missing Tequesta teens. In July 2015 Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos, both 14, went missing off the coast of Jupiter after going on a fishing trip into the Atlantic. The 19-foot boat was found capsized by the Coast Guard a few days after they were reported missing.
