Why let some wet weather get in the way of a fun weekend?

*Catch a movie in comfy new chairs: If it’s been forever since you’ve been to the movies, now might be a good time to catch up. The Cobb Theatre at Downtown at the Gardens has installed roomier seats and a bar to help you enjoy the show.

If you’re looking for a flick that’s a little more thought-provoking than “The Jungle Book” or “The Angry Birds Movie,” check out one of the two movies playing at the new PGA Cinemas, 4076 PGA Blvd. You’ll also save a few dollars on ticket prices, but the theater managers ask you to pay cash if possible.

*Enjoy brunch at a local restaurant with the family: Who wants to cook on the weekend? Sleep in and then head to brunch at one of the popular spots in PGA Commons to fill up on eggs, bagels and burritos you can wash down with a mimosa or Bloody Mary. Check out the North Palm Beach County restaurants on the Post’s Best Brunch guide to determine which one you’ll enjoy best.

*Detox yoga at Twisted Trunk: This brewery, 2000 PGA Blvd. #5506, has detox yoga 11 a.m. every Sunday. Pay $18 for admission to the one-hour Vinyasa hot yoga class and a pint of beer or Kombucha to enjoy when you’re finished. It’s a good way to ease back into the work week.
