Original post: If you’re having trouble calling Palm Beach Gardens City Hall, the problem isn’t your phone.

Construction crews unintentionally cut phone lines, disrupting the city’s service. The outage announced around 12:30 p.m. is expected to last three to four hours. It hasn’t affected 911, but the emergency line isn’t working.

Residents can call 911 for non-emergency public safety issues while the phone lines are out, according to the city.
